Neumann High Country Doors Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

By scheduling service, purchasing products, or signing an estimate with Neumann High Country Doors (“Company,” “we,” “us”), you (“Customer,” “you,” “your”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions. You have the right to accept,
decline, or seek a second opinion on our recommendations.

2. Scheduling & Access

  • Service appointments are scheduled in advance, with estimated arrival windows.
  • You agree to provide safe access to the property and garage on the scheduled date.
  • Missed or cancelled appointments with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a service fee of $119.

3. Estimates & Quotes

  • Estimates are provided free of charge unless otherwise stated.
  • Quotes are valid for 7 days.
  • Additional charges may apply for unforeseen conditions such as structural issues, electrical work, or code
    compliance.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due in full upon completion of work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Accepted payment methods: [cash, check, major credit cards, financing partners, etc.].
  • A late fee of 10% may apply to invoices not paid within 30 days.
  • Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee; future payments may be required via cashier’s check or money order.

5. Deposits & Cancellations

  • New door/special orders require a 50% deposit.
  • Cancellations within 3 business days may qualify for a full refund. If the door/special material has been ordered and the manufacturer is unable to cancel. No refund will be available.
  • After 3 business days, deposits become non-refundable, with a 25% restocking/cancellation fee.

6. Warranties

  • Parts & Labor Warranty Manufacturer warranties apply to all new products.
  • Our workmanship warranty covers installation for 12 months from the date of service.
  • Labor warranty for service work is 30 days. After that, a service call fee will apply Exclusions

Our warranties do not cover damage resulting from:

  • Misuse, neglect, accidents, structural issues, or failure to maintain the garage door system.
  • Collisions, Acts of God, or intentional damage.

Additionally, the following are not covered:

  • Water intrusion, leaks, weather conditions, and natural elements (rain, snow, wind, dust, temperature fluctuations).
  • Perimeter trim shrinkage, warping, or separation due to heat, sunlight, or environmental conditions.
  • Cosmetic issues, including but not limited to paint fading, discoloration, or material movement caused by weather or normal wear and tear.

7. Returns & Refunds

  • Custom or special-order products are non-refundable.
  • Standard stock items may be returned within 30 days if unused and in original packaging, and may be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
  • Refunds for services are issued only if work was not performed to a reasonable standard and cannot be corrected.

8. Liability Release

  • Upon completion of service, you release Neumann High Country Doors from liability for damages within your garage or property related to work performed, unless caused by proven negligence.
  • We are not responsible for minor cosmetic damage (scratches, scuffs, drywall marks, paint touch-ups, etc.) caused during normal installation or service.
  • Our maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service/product in dispute.

9. Pre-Existing Conditions

We are not responsible for pre-existing structural damage, faulty framing, electrical issues, or prior installations performed by others.

10. Product Lead Times & Delays

Delivery and installation dates are estimates only, not a guarantee, and may be delayed due to manufacturer supply issues, shipping delays, or circumstances beyond our control.

11. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including weather, natural disasters, labor strikes, shortages, or government restrictions.

12. Verbal Promises

Only written agreements, estimates, and invoices signed by the Company are binding. Verbal statements or promises made by employees or representatives are not enforceable.

13. Service Call & Diagnostic Fees

A standard diagnostic/service fee of $119.00 applies to all service visits. This fee is non-refundable and due regardless of whether work is authorized.

14. Customer Responsibilities

  • Follow all technician recommendations regarding safety and maintenance.
  • Do not operate doors or openers that appear damaged or unsafe.
  • Garage doors and openers require regular maintenance. The Customer is responsible for scheduling and maintaining ongoing service.
  • Failure to follow recommendations voids warranties and releases the Company from future liability.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Neumann High Country Doors, its employees, and affiliates from claims or damages arising from:

  • Misuse of installed products
  • Failure to follow recommendations
  • Violation of these Terms & Conditions

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Yavapai County, AZ, unless otherwise required by law.

17. Amendments

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be posted on our website and available upon request.
The owner has the right to file a written complaint with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors for an alleged violation of 32-1154(A). 1-877-629-6762. Complaints must be made within the applicable time period set forth in section 32-1155(A).
